C'mon, they are not gay (they always feel compelled to point that out for some reason), but their cousin's roommate's dance partner's teacher's sister is gay and she is voting for Trump! But she and others like her are on the down low - they don't wish to be revealed as a Trump supporters, or else the liberal gays would stomp them to death or something like that.

Definitely "something like that..." and what are all those Log Cabin Repugs gonna do? Call me when they make their endorsement. At least we can verify that one, if it should come to pass and it probably will or something like that.
For many (not all) LGBTQ, an incident like this is not going to make them magically forget how they were treated in the last 50 years.

Well said LGBT people have been beaten, killed on a consistent basis every year by non Muslims in the US. The term homophobia has not been uttered by Trump or most Republicans. We have 100 of anti LGBT laws started by Republicans across states and we had the Lt Gov of Texas tweet " you reap what you sow" right after this massacre which he then took down.
And today all we heard about blocking Muslim immigration to the US.
I think it's fantastic that Trump just announced that the GOP supports LGBT rights now! Take that, you religious freedom people!
Why? 50 people were just murdered by people that are supported by policies of Obama, Hillary & the DEMs.
The fact they think they "own" this demographic is horrific at best.
