Still making up excuses for Trump?

I've not counted him out, but the way he is running this convention is a total mess. He already had an uphill battle with the clinton political war machine, but he seems to do all the damage himself.

Hillary is mad... her war machine sits mostly idle while Dems watch this convention in disbelief.

I thought pence would even things out and give trump a chance to pull the party together. That is not happening so far.

Think about what you are typing.... "straight out of WWE script"... really? That is what you want out of a President? This is a mess.

And I loved Rick Flair... guy was great entertainment. Now with all those wwe wrestlers complaining of brain injuries, I'm sad. Much like I am after looking at this convention for the 3rd straight day.

I hope things straighten up... honestly... we need two parties in this country.

GOP is spiraling out of control.

Ted Cruz virtually got booed off the stage. Trump knew one of two things would happen: Cruz would endorse him or reveal humself to be a jerk who's not a man of his word. In choosing the latter, Cruz blew any chance of getting the nomination in 2020. Even his own supporters were ticked about that, and said so to reporters on the convention floor. That's right. Should Trump win in November and decide to run for reelection, he wont have to worry about "Untrustworthy Ted" in 2020. Trump was the one who came out smelling like a rose here.

Enjoy the Democratic Convention, with its vile hag and clown car of anti-police speakers.

You know that though. I will never understand why people think this is a valid rebuttal.

Lol, oh it's valid.

What's not valid is the I'm so principled, I won't vote for Trump gar-baghe. No one who lets that leftist hag and the dangerous cohorts in her orbit into the WH can call themselves Conservatives. There's too much at stake, including the Supreme Court, hundreds of lifetime federal judgeships, and protecting us from a massive invasion of leeches and terrorists.

There's nothing principled about helping the WRONG side write your country's epitaph.

Exactly! If you are unable to run something from a script, how can you run a country without one? If you are unable to play a simple rock tune with the music sheet in front of you, how can you be expected to write your own tunes and create your own licks?
.

These posts are absolutely hilarious from the left and Cruz supporters! They either support a candidate who stands on a canned pulpit, can't admit defeat and honor a contract he signed or support a woman who's husband had sex in the White House - who has been in scandal after scandal and had a hard time beating a socialist and both are commenting on the RNC convention and Trump! People are delusional.

I think Cruz and his lack of endorsement of Trump actually helps Trump.

No doubt the GOP was broken when Trump steamrolled every potential candidate in the primaries. So Cruz, one of the top contenders, comes out of the RNC looking like a hurt little child who's scoop of ice cream fell on the floor. The lack of party unity IMO highlights Trump's ability to change things. He certainly did so in the primaries, exposing all the GOP's weaknesses and making himself obviously look the strongest in the party by gaining the nomination.

Has the RNC been "nothing like we've seen before"? Sure, as I've heard those words throughout Trump's run.

Default Cruz elected to commit political suicide last night

Yanno, I used to like Cruz, but the more I found out about him, the less I liked him, simply b/c he seems to me, to be extremely mean spirited....

I saw his daughter turn him away and tell him, "I don't like you!" and I feel so badly for his wife.
Apparently she had a break down years ago, and was found sitting in the median strip of a very busy highway.

Ya gotta wonder what goes on in that household. But to do what he did last night, to me, was the ultimate embarrasement...proved his true demeaner....and he did it regardless of anyone else's feelings, including his family...

You can stand by your convictions, that's one thing, but to go before a crowd like that, that received and voted for Trump...well? I believe it shows how nuts Cruz is.

and they said, he was still angry with Trump over Trumps nasty remarks to him, well, Trump never attacked Cruz, until Cruz attacked Trump....and Trump went for the jugular.

What you say?

Wondered when you'd show up to the party - Dex - your candidate is toast - check Facebook - better I'll provide the link. Even if people have short attention spans - who ever runs against him will continue to use this against him. It was a bad move on his part if he had hoped to run in 2020.

https://www.facebook.com/tedcruzpage/?fref=ts check the comments only 1 in 100 support him after that speech. I don't think that will carry him far.

You might be the only one that liked him, he is not going to win any national elections outside his home base. Those who think he can win anything in 2020 can guess again but he does have his fan base.

I thought Clinton's tweet was funny "Vote your conscience".

dex - the Republicans can't change the rules - state's dictate the rules - here's a little reading for you.

Who controls primary elections, and who gets to vote?
