Whether it's life or business you have to take calculated risks to be very successful, there will be failures. For example Obama took enormous risk with the Bin Laden raid, not only was he putting his political life on the line he was risking peoples lives. It's very easy to give him credit for this after the fact and he deserves it because that took a set of.....

You can't look at individual failures or successes though. Trump's overall record of success far outweigh his failures, that's the bottom line.

Don
Crooked Hillary can't be fact checked because no one has been able to find where she has told the truth on anything. Fact checking requires there needs to be something to compare against. Short of going out and getting a barking dog to translate what she says not much hope of finding something she hasn't lied about.

I hope I don't take sniper fire by saying this. You know, the way she did in Bosnia.

While all politicians lie to some extent, trump has taken lying in politics to a whole new level. The information on this is out there. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to trouble many of his supporters.

Anyhow, below are some of the lies/spins/non-facts that were told in Trump's speech. Remember, these are just the facts:

I guess the "journalist" never heard of the FBI.

Maybe he should read up on how Al Capone got busted.

It CERTAINLY was NOT the "local authorities"

just another left biased site.

SFGate is the Hearst-owned website sister-site of the San Francisco Chronicle , Another leftie media outlet.

I didn't bother with the others because it is just MORE of the same.

I am glad to see you NEVER FAILED IN SINGLE THING YOUR ENTIRE LIFE.

Failure is PART of business.

Out of the hundreds of businesses he has had how may HAVE failed and how many have SUCCEEDED?

Trump saw Atlantic City was going on the decline. I guess you think he was responsible SOLELY for its decline and the dems who ran things are off the hook.

When a city starts to decline, you get out!
Walt Disney went bankrupt PERSONALLY 3 TIMES.

I guess you call him a failure also.

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump trailed Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by 12 percentage points in a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday, making him the clear underdog ahead of next week's Republican National Convention."

Anyway, 12 points is "comfortable" by most standards. People on this forum just love to toss out the insults even when they don't have the facts.

All true, but we are talking about US jobs, not outsourced, overseas jobs. Let's stay on topic here......

since we are having a discussion about fact-checking, I think it's a perfect example of how you stated the truth, but it is still misleading.
