Ivanka Trump: My Father Will Change Labor Laws to Benefit Women | Fox Business

What's not to love about this? Except for the fact he can't pass laws by himself?

If it was so easy to change laws, other Presidents would have done it a long time ago.

There is still no "Equal Rights Amendment" despite the fact it's been in the works since the 1920s -- almost 100 years now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal_Rights_Amendment

All the Equal Rights Amendment does is guarantee equal rights to women. That's all! Yet they can't get enough states to ratify it!

So, ticks me off when politicians promise things that can't be done.

That's funny crooked Hillary has a list of things she says she is going to do. Don't hear anyone complaining she can't do it by herself either. Really it's nothing more than stating the obvious.

More fake outrage. Making promises that they don't keep is the establishment politicians way of life.

Well, her father's assertion that he wants to change our country's form of government into an autocracy is something she evidently strongly believes in. Nothing to debate here.

Talk is cheap from the Trump family. If the dumpster really believes in the plight of poor struggling workers, start by negotiating the contract at the Trump Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The employees there voted to unionize last December and as of yet have not met to begin bargaining a contract. He recently settled some unfair labor practice charges for firing workers who had helped organize.

His workers contend they make as much as $3 less an hour than in union hotels doing the same work. Here's a shocker, their benefit are way less as well.

Maybe Ivanka can step in and do the right thing eh?

The words that came out of Ivanka's mouth about what her father will do for woman are words and ideas he's never put forth. He claims that American workers are paid too much.

Hillary always says she will "work towards" changing laws. Ivanka flat out said her daddy was going to change the labor laws. There's a HUGE difference.

And how does she know that her daddy will be able to change the labor laws? There's this little thing called Congress that you kinda have to work through.

And in what ways has Donald Trump supported better workers rights for women? Will he address the wage gap?
