The Trump bounce is yuuuuggge!!!....biggest in 16 years!!!! One would normally expect a Dem bounce but with Hillary a horrible speaker, almost half the delegates booing Crooked Hillary, Wikileaks threatening more leaks...Hillary could get a convention negative bump.

From the looks of things I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump get the bounce after the Dem convention also.

Every candidate gets a bump in the polls for 2-3 weeks after their conventions. This is nothing new.

I heard all this during the primaries too but when they counted the votes, Trump support was much wider than the "poorly educated." BTW, I am white and college educated and support Trump. I don't know what education has anything to do with trade, immigration and defense.

This is simply stunning.
Look at some of the polling methodology.

No 18 to 35 years polled. Minorities only break at 66% to democrats.

hhmmm...

Actually the way things have started off you're probably correct.

No but the ugly email mess at the start of this convention is.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Clinton not only doesn't get a post-convention bounce but loses a point or two.

I'm with you -- between the victimization/identity politics/pandering and the DNC/wikileaks issue (plus the fact that Hillary is unlikeable and becomes less popular with more exposure), I could see the DNC hurting Hillary. After this convention, there will be people interested in 'not Hillary' or 'not Democrat.'

Really so the rich will somehow create jobs from the Trump tax cuts? Will companies really bring jobs back with the end of trade agreements like TPP or NAFTA? Will companies hire American workers rather than illegals or H1-B visa holders? The problem is Trump has been using these for his own gain in the private sector. How can we trust him now running against his personal business record? This is why I don't buy Trump is for the middle class.
