What to tell the children?

The US has elected its first woman president. Barely 100 years following women getting the vote. And after places like Pakistan elected their first woman leader.

"Money and corruption can bring power beyond belief." Sadly, amid such scandal it will take away from the first woman POTUS. It will be "Yeah, and if she wasn't a woman, she would have lost." and from what I heard, that is correct as not even her corruption and power could win her the election without low information voters who would choose a candidate based on gender.

Kids are never too young to learn about corruption in our government or elsewhere.

That the house didn't kill the witch

lmao!!! That is awesome!

What will I tell my kids. To still work hard and be honest. That I didn't vote for her and that I'm sorry that others chose to put a person into office that some choose to turn a blind eye to.

What will parents tell their young children if Clinton is elected?

That we saved the world from a dangerous, thin-skinned, know-nothing, ego-maniacal, would-be dictator.

And when those children are old enough to understand exactly how big a bullet we dodged, they will be supremely grateful that there were enough intelligent adults in the country to do it.

They'll tell them that this is reason we tell them not to talk to strangers.

I would assume parent's wouldn't say anything except positive and hopeful messages to their children.
Doubt they would tell the truth - that she cheated her way in.
No reason to stress the kid out.
