I think Dems made a mistake in focusing on BLM and illegal immigrants in the first two days of the Convention. A lot of people were tuning into see if there were riots and, instead of big riots, we just saw a weird celebration of lawlessness. It turned a lot of people off when the DNC moved a bit more center in the last 2 days. And, of course, nobody cares what Shillary is going to say since it's entirely a focus-group generated speech.

Dems couldn't help themselves...they hate Trump, but can't help but to hang on his every word. They care more about watching Trump than some trumped up storyline involving HILLARY being the FIRST WOMAN TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT.

If Trump was dark, why didn't y'all turn the TV off?

Face it, Trump is just more likeable.

Just heard CNN asking some business guy who he'd rather have a beer with and of course he chose Trump (granted, Trump doesn't drink). They came back with something like "well, the people that know Hillary say she's a different, more likeable person away from the cameras" - well gee whiz, that's basically telling us she's fake. The American public already knows she's fake as hell.

totally agree.
He's infinitely more likeable because he's much more real. He's a real person not some robotic bought and paid for shill.

Also, the 'darkness' argument holds zero water, its nonsense, the dark argument suggests that you have the ability to watch all the terror on tv these last few months from CNN and MSNBC and not have felt dark until you listened to trump give a positive speech about how he's going to get rid of the bad guys and THEN feel dark? ok.

there's a HUGE difference between positive speech, uplifting speech and dark speech, its assumed that all Americans are fed up with seeing the attacks in our streets and when they tune into Trump, he gives them hope.....why would anyone think that Trump's words aren't hopeful words? Don't we have hope he will eradicate the group that obama can't even say as well as other domestic attacks? How exactly is he 'dark'?

Its passionate and uplifting, him mentioning terror and border walls and other stuff is just the truth that we need to hear, we are so used to NOT hearing it that we confuse his words with 'dark' words, to me, they're as uplifting as can be, i'm uplifted that america is going to straighten itself out and clean up its act.

all positive, there's nothing negative about it.

That's not what Variety says: the above numbers do not include PBS and Univision.

With PBS viewers: Clinton 31.72 million vs. Trump 31.95 million -- a virtual tie.

Maybe the networks were dong the Republicans a favor. Like if your next door neighbor has a fight with his wife and the police come, you do the discreet thing and stay in your house rather than stand out in the front yard watching.

NOT according the various Secret Service people who have written about her and others who have had contact with her.

In FACT, they say JUST THE OPPOSITE.

Quite damning to Hillary Clinton. Then again, it was a disastrous convention. Example of how those political hacks would run the USA if elected.
That didn't happen.
