No meat on the bones of his policy statements, for darn sure... Study for 3 hours a day? Yeah, that's gonna happen.

"Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell said Thursday he’s skeptical that Republican Donald Trump will take part in the three debates against Democrat Hillary Clinton scheduled for this fall."

And, before y'all trump followers start howling about how unfair and biased the article is, it also says some stuff about hillary that isn't complimentary, either.

Trump Could Win Pennsylvania, May Not Debate, Rendell Says (1)

If he does skip them he'll have a better chance of winning.

He simply can't debate, he doesn't know his ass from his elbow when it comes to the federal government, unlike Hillary who is a policy wonk and knows her stuff whether you like his policies or not, she's been at it for 40 years.

On the other hand Hillary is not a great campaigner, she has no charisma and is not very exciting. Trump on the other hand is better on the campaign trail and can match her when it comes to rallies.

If Trump debates her she will embarrass him in one of those 3 debates with 120 million viewers and open up a 10 point lead.

How is Trump going to stand up to foreign adversaries if he's too afraid to show up for a debate?

Just sayin'.

Of course, the trump followers really don't care about policy, they love all the flash and nastiness. They are waiting for trump to give non-answers about his own policies, and say snide things to and about hillary instead. As cheap entertainment, trump can't be beat... as a possible president, he leaves a lot to be desired.

If it were possible to embarrass trump, she would do it in all 3 debates. But, it is impossible to embarrass trump. He just can't see when he is headed down the wrong road. I wouldn't be surprise dot hear more about his yuuuge hands and his ... no problem there... during the debates. After all, he got such great response to that. He might even throw in some comments about bernie, even though bernie isn't running any more. It is so much more substantive than actually coming up with an answer to a question.

And, all these other countries keep putting women in charge, too. It'll be a nightmare for him, after all, he can only think of women in terms of if they are 10's or not. They aren't the ones playing the 'woman card' - it is trump's overheated imagination about them that will trip him up.

He seems terrified of having to deal with them; he might fold like a cheap suit if he has to face a woman on the debate stage. Wonder if there will be any women moderators?

It will be Clinton who tries to avoid debates, like she did with Bernie. Trump will totally dominate in the debates. He has natural speaking ability and can work a crowd. Hillary is robotic and can't think on her feet. Why do you think she hasn't had a press conference in what, a year? ...while Trump has them every few days.

But keep deceiving yourself liberals (kind of like what Hitler did when he knew he was going to lose ).

Neither candidate is going to skip the debate. The media will claim Hillary won, those who lean Trump will claim Trump won, those who lean Hillary will claim Hillary won, and others will use the debate itself to assess who performed better than the other.

Hillary may be able to talk an hour on some random policy, but these debates never allow for anything like that. The debates are what 90 minutes? Take out the formalities/moderator speaking time and each candidate may spend 30 minutes talking.

Trump avoids and bans any reporters whose questions he dislikes. So, when you do that, I'm not surprised you welcome press conferences. You've, in effect, threatened to cut off access if you get questions you don't like.

So Trump is controlling the press through threats.

When is Hillary's next press conference so she answer questions about her statements?

Lack of detail gives Trump an advantage in the debates and may even be planned. He'll be able to unload them on Hillary during the debate leaving her very unprepared. Didn't think of that did you?

That said I'm not sure how any politician can go into detail without boring everyone to death. They can give a PowerPoint presentation but that's not going to matter if 90% of the people turn the TV off.
