Trump made it very easy for the Democrats to become the Morning In America party, the party of religious tolerance, the party that's concerned about American families, and the party of responsible leadership.
The convention didn't have to steal every single point that allowed the GOP to rise to the top and stay there for so long. Trump handed it all to the Democrats on a sliver platter, and then passed out free dessert by attacking a dead soldier's father before the convention excitement had died down.
Just as the Democratic strategists thought he would. They might not have known what particular target Trump would select, but they were sure it would be the wrong one again.
Trump has none of the highly professional conservative strategists in his corner. In fact, some of the best may have been talking with the Democratic planners, because so much of the GOP establishment wants Trump crushed, not just defeated.
So far, the Democratic job has been pretty easy. Donald Trump is very predictable, and very easy to read. He's like a punch drunk fighter, opening himself up to one jab after another, and the Democrats know very well where and when to hit him next. Right now, all they're doing is waiting for him to punch himself out before they really begin their attacks.
Lots of folks have doubt that he really doesn't want the job, and only wants to win. if the guy on the street has these doubts, why do you think the folks who make a living studying political strategy know nothing at all?

Trump won't be nice anymore. Really? The kind, generous, and humble Donald Trump is taking off his tiny gloves. The sheer stupidity of this thread hurts. It literally hurts. He has been nothing but a desperate weasel since he started. There will be no change in the great pumpkin. We've seen his act. I wasn't impressed when he did it on reality tv. I'm not impressed now.

There should be someone who could step in and end all the nonsense. Anyone like he should not even be allowed to attempt to try for the position of leading the country. "OKAY, Dude...party's over.. it's been fun.. next!"
