People were incredulous and thought Hitler was a joke when he initially rose to power, too. Seriously, read about it. Trump feels an affinity with dictators. Who becomes the next U.S. president matters and will impact all of us and our children directly.

Bolded in above. What is your definition of smart? Trump knows how to screw the government, his business partners, his creditors, and students out of their loan money. Is that what you call smart?

Nonsense. They reflect current law, what a business, or individual may and may not do under existing law.

He is most definitely not the bolded.

The reason he is so cozy with Russia is that he has to go there for money since he is such a TERRIBLE businessman with such a horrid record that no American bank will lend him money anymore.

And you know this exactly how?

Do you happen to know where the Clintons got their money?

I agree with the Russian remarks -- just tongue in cheek. Liberals tend to exaggerate to make Trump look unstable.

Did you think that, perhaps, the Russian remarks were a cheap shot at the media? That's what Rush Limbaugh thought, as the final line was 'I think you'll (Russia) be rewarded mightily by our press' implying the media didn't do its job covering the story.

Has anyone confirmed that the Russians were the hackers?

If Obama couldn't do it, Trump won't be able to either.

With topics like this, I am always reminded of when Ventura became our Governor, and I swear I heard reports that old people were "scared" Of course, nothing really changed except we got a tax rebate twice when there was a surplus.

There is lot's of speculation it's the Russkies, but no confirmation. And there may never be.

Trump had a fiery press conference the day after Bill Clinton spoke and stole the MSM from the DNC for the rest of the week. We've never seen a presidential candidate as media savvy or manipulative as Trump...and Newt Gingrich was pretty good at it. IMO his aside about Hillary's missing 30,000 emails was a jab at the press for not doing their job, a jab at Hillary for obvious reasons, but also a jab at James Comey.
