It is a shame that Democrats are now a propaganda arm for Islam. Essentially making this a Left and Right issue in politics.

Islam has no place in a civilized society.
A Democratic administration killed Osama bin Laden, who had killed 3,000+ Americans on September 11, 2001 during a Republican administration. That alone makes them more competent to deal with safety and terrorism issues than the GOP IMO, and especially against a candidate that has already damaged our NATO relationships before the election!

Trump said he knows more than the generals about ISIS. I suppose the world is flat now, too! Lol. These types of statements should disqualify him from the highest office in the land. It is equally telling how many prominent Republicans (a long list) skipped the GOP convention.

Nonetheless, thanks for sharing your views and allowing me to provide you with facts. Most Americans, in both parties and independents, were very impressed and inspired by the speech given by Khan at the DNC. They lost a brave son in combat. Please, let's try to remember that.

How much coverage has Clinton making up a fake story for her speech gotten? Seems newsworthy, esp since Dems are the ones who said she lied.

Trump should have said away from the Khan story. You can't win arguing with a dead child's parents (unless you are msnbc, then the media will let you get away with it).

But there is no doubt the media is playing for one side.

Trump is not going to "keep quiet." It's simply not in his nature. He loves to hear himself talk, and mistakenly believes everybody else does, too. And it's his own big mouth that will sink him in the end.

He's a 70 year old man. Expecting him to change is delusional. Clinton nailed it in her acceptance speech when she said it's no use waiting for Trump to suddenly become presidential. What you see is as good as it gets.

Denigrating parents whose son gave his life for his country is about as low as he's gone...so far. But I kind of doubt we've seen the floor yet.

They just follow a story that Donald keeps pouring gas on the flames instead of trying to put out. That's what they do. It's not a conspiracy. Donald is his own worst enemy. He is incapable of shutting his own damned mouth.

Can't imagine that Ryan & Co. are happy about this.

Both McConnell and Ryan have come out with nicely worded statements. However, they don't have the guts to repudiate comments made by Trump nor do they mention his name at all.

You're just sad it looks like your guy is going down in flames by his own doing. Trump didn't have to say anything but like me, he just had to a then shot himself in the foot in the process. Smart move Donald. Very presidential of you.

Trump would likely win due to a combination of anti-establishment fatigue and Clinton apathy.

Apparently Donald doesn't know the meaning of the word sacrifices. Hiring more employees isn't sacrifice. He was getting deferments when we were going to Vietnam. Now his doctor says he is as fit as a 40 year old. Yeah, he's sacrificed, keep believing that one.
