Amusing. Trump supporters / the GOP just can't imagine that Khan is acting independently. They always believe there's a conspiracy against them...the media, pollsters, and on and on. Perhaps it's fitting that they chose Trump, who has shown a strong pattern of paranoia through the years.

I haven't read online where he volunteered to appear. Can you provide that?
A former Marine who did not serve in Iraq or Afghanistan. I am not saying that his service was any less important or courageous, but he is only giving his personal opinion, which is his right. There are plenty of veterans who are both Republicans and Democrats. In fact, I can think of a couple of very well known war heroes (McCain and Bush Sr) who didn't even show up at the Republican National Convention because Trump is the nominee.
