Earlier the paper said that if Hillary doesn't get a big bump she's in very big trouble.

She did get a big bump. Trump had won 5 of the 6 polls going into the DNC and Hillary has won 6 of the 7 during and coming out of it, with her largest wins the last 3 polls fresh off the convention.
