I think between 6 to 8 seats in the senate and 15 to 22 in the house.

Here is a good article on this.

I have to wonder, personally, I don't see Donny as a (D) or an (R) but as a (T), I think his only interest is himself, using an established party was just a convenience for him.

I would think the Democrats would have more to worry about since the Democrats that have switched to Trump may very well vote straight ticket. No one seems to want to ponder that now do they?

I think incumbents are going to have a problem. I am going to vote in the primary tomorrow here and vote against ALL incumbents as they have ALL been doing a poor job. Need to wash out the weight and bring in some people ready to get behind Trump and get to work!

This is the real question. Trump's effect on the down ballots. That's where the Koch's are in a panic. They have no interest in Trump whatsoever and won't even meet with him but they are afraid he will lose the Senate too.

Which is why the Kochs are not funding Trump but seem to be concentrating their resources on downticket candidates.

Meanwhile, many of us in reality, understand that Trump has caused millions to vote GOP and register that would never have occurred..

I'll lose a battle, if it wins the war, just like Demos had Clinton, but Congress was GOP..

Hard to say but here's a whole bunch of scrambling by down ballot candidates to stay close to Trump but not too close (which is kind of like being sorta pregnant)

this is where i think trump will damage the down ballot candidates. my guess is that the dems will try and brand the GOP as "the party of trump" and force republican candidates into a position of having to defend trump's positions/statements.

Well, no need for the Dems to try and brand anything. Like it or not the Republicans ARE the party of Trump. Pottery Barn rules apply "You broke it, you buy it".
