1. First pretend you don't care about it.

2. Suggest that the reason the person is criticizing you is because they are a Mexican, a Muslim, or part of some other target hate group of yours.

3. Refuse to apologize no matter how stupid your comments or actions were.

4. Tell everyone that the media created the issue and the real problem is that all the mainstream media is out to get you.

5. Always answer any critic with an insult. Never seek the higher ground in any controversy.

6. Attempt to deflect blame by not directly answering criticism, instead insist that Hillary Clinton must have done something worse and the media should be spending its time reporting about her.

7. When confronted with your own ignorance of basic facts, insist that you know more than all the experts in a field do.

8. Use your disdain for political correctness as an excuse for not being polite nor civil.

it doesn't matter, all that matters is if the country is safe, clean and better than ever, action is all that matters, words dont build walls and clean up our va hospitals and clean up the drugs and blood off our streets.

Doubling down on the war on drugs? That's a monumental absurdity.

It's time to legalize marijuana and start investing in mandatory treatment programs for other drugs instead of jails.

Well, Hillary was outright lies, and says it never happened.

Yesterday she said she never emailed classified information on her private email.

Truly unbelievable.

Its shocking to me that Trump did not know that Russia had already invaded Ukraine.

You all are correct about Trump's base, that they does not care what he does, unfortunately he is lying about bringing jobs back to the rust belt. They are supporting Trump based on lies about jobs and building a wall in Mexico. Sad..

I love Trumps standard reply to any question, he always says "Well, I HEARD........" Where is he hearing all this bogus stuff, on some reality TV show ?

Donald is kind of a strange human being........very thin skin and a very thick skull.

Wow, at first, I thought this was an anti Obama thread! Needs a few tweaks though:

1. First- you don't care about it.

2. Suggest that the reason the person is criticizing you is because they are a Conservative, a Christian, or part of some other target hate group of yours (Military, police, white people).

3. Refuse to apologize no matter how stupid your comments or actions were.

4. Tell everyone that the media created the issue and the real problem is that all the mainstream media is out to get you (FOX news for Obama, VRWC for Hillary).

5. Always answer any critic with an insult. Never seek the higher ground in any controversy (cop acted stupidly, Repus will have to sit in the back seat, If they bring a knife, we'll bring a gun, et al).

6. Attempt to deflect blame by not directly answering criticism, instead insist that Trump/Palin/Romney/Bachman etc must have done something worse and the media should be spending its time reporting about them.

7. When confronted with your own ignorance of basic facts, insist that you know more than all the experts in a field do (Yeah, cant seem to find a single expert who can find all 57 states on a map, or can find a single Navy "Corpse man, And cant find any constitutional scholars who can verify the US Constitution was written 2000 years ago).

8. Use your disdain for political correctness as an excuse for not being polite nor civil( Like attending a DNC fundraiser in Las Vegas 1 day after Benghazi).

Wow--what similarities we can discover

Does he have a form of dementia? He talked about Russia invading Ukraine in other interviews, so maybe he really does know but he forgot? Or maybe he can't express what he really wants to say? Who knows at this point!

I really like this article. Maybe this is the real explanation.

The media is getting Trump

"One of the many problems with the Donald Trump candidacy is that he’s ignorant about policy issues, particularly foreign policy. Another is that he’s such a careless speaker that it can sometimes be impossible to tell what he means. The combination of these two can create a uniquely Trumpian problem — the media hyping an outrageous thing that it sounds like Trump said, when the real problem is that Trump actually meant a different, equally outrageous thing."

But isn't that all that Trump is using? He's using words to lure you into thinking he can do those things you mention. That's all the Trump has been using ...words. And you're believing him.
