That is why Trump asked if it was a copy.. for a man to actually give his own purple heart to him was too much of an honor.
Damn Trump is a good man!

McCain is no angel.. McCain opened his big mouth and insulted Trump first.. saying Trump was bringing out all the crazies.. Trump was called names before he called anyone a name.. Trump was insulted by all but the media never speaks of that.. we supporters know.. we see it all.. McCain and all those who attacked Trump got it back . .. too bad McCain.. next time keep your trap closed..

This wimp McCain couldn't open his mouth to say anything bad about Obama and there was so much to say. all wimps. McCain, Romney, Ryan all wimps. all Rinos.. all creeps.

Exactly. Talk sheet and get smashed. Common man has been disrespected enough. Thank you Donald for sticking up for us.

Very classy that you think you can "talk sheet" against a guy's service who walked the talk when people like you and Trump never "did sheet" other than just talk.

And anyone with normal decency of a human being would have said something like "thank you for this, and I'm honored for your trust in me, but please know that I can't wear this because I haven't earned it. I think too highly of your service. And as President, I'll always think highly of your service and do my best for our veterans."

Instead, Trump goes: "Neat, I always wanted one! That was much easier!"

...than actually serving, which he obviously didn't since he dodged the draft and yet likes to mouth off against the service of those who had the balls to go do it.

The guy is such a moron with mouth diarrhea.

Of all the lame brained things Trump has said--and you could write a book the size of War And Peace recounting them--saying "I always wanted a Purple Heart" has to be the stupidest. No one WANTS a Purple Heart because you have to suffer a grievous injury to be awarded one.

Trump saying he always wanted a Purple Heart is Trump saying he always wanted to be terribly wounded. What kind of idiot makes a statement like that?

Oh, yeah, the king of idiots, Donald Trump.

And even beyond that, saying that and then following it up with "gee, that was much easier!" is a real flippant flap in the face of men who really went into combat (which Trump ran from) and dealt with the fallout of serious injuries.

I can respect one's service while not accepting a blatant insult. Why are the two mutually exclusive?

Do you have proof of what someone with "normal" decency would do? Or is that just your opinion?
