As we saw in 2000, the Nader vote screwed Gore in Florida with Nader getting 97,421 votes, over 92,000 more than Bush's margin of victory over Gore. It was stated that 25% would have voted Bush, 38% would have voted Gore with the rest not voting at all. Had Nader note been in the election, Gore would have won Florida by over 12,000 votes. So don't tell me i am wrong.
Nader didn't screw over Gore, Gore screwed over Gore by not getting more votes. I have no plans to vote for Hillary, if I didn't have Stein to vote for, I still wouldn't vote for Hillary.

If Hillary loses this election, it will be her fault, not any other party.

So no, I don't consider any vote to be wasted unless you are voting for someone you don't like just to vote for the main two parties.

I suppose to be fair these were pretty much ideas that a large numbers of American's, conservative, liberal, or whatever held.

I have no idea how we got things so screwed up. (Well, I do but........)
How would you classify yourself on the ideological spectrum if not liberal?

I don't like Hillary personally but politically I can stand her. Trump I hate personally and politically is a flip-flopper. Stein comes off as a wacko besides the no PAC support. Johnson I want to like but the Fair Tax is a non-starter for me. I can't vote Constitution because it wants to make the U.S. a Christian nation (it's in its platform) which any constitutionalist knows we have separation of church and state. So for me it is vote Clinton or dont vote and this is an election I fear the stakes are too high to hope for the electoral landslide I want and stay at home.

That's only bad if you wanted Gore to win. Those who voted Nader wanted Nader to win.

Nader should have stayed as a consumer advocate. He did much more good there than handing the election to Bush.

He never had enough support to win and he knew it.

I was actually a Bush supporter (not that I could vote since I could first vote in 2008) at the time fearing military cuts under Gore since my mother worked DOD (and would until retirement after another ten years for over 30 years total.) My point is that Nader screwed Gore more so than the hanging chads ever did.

And for me, I would never vote for Clinton or Trump. That's how elections work, we should vote for the candidate we support, not just one of the two parties.

So? Trump doesn't have the support to win and he is leading one of the two major parties. Should people only run if they know they will win? That seems like a rigged system where candidates are chosen rather than elected.

We need more choices, not fewer.

And I barely have Clinton. Where do I go? What is worse voting against the lesser of two evils or not voting at all? I believe you said not voting is a wasted vote earlier in the thread...
