No, it would wipe out the will to continue supporting their cause like it did to the Japanese. As far as civilian casualties, yup, that's how it works and always will.

That seems to be Felix C's contention. Hundreds of thousands of civilian causalities? Oh, well. It's all good as long as we got those few ISIS members we think might have been there. Radiation poisoning that will slowly and horrifically sicken and kill the remaining population for years and years to come? Oh, well, we might have gotten a few terrorists in there, so it's all good, amiright?
Moreover, he believes the world will applaud us if we do this. That's some alternate reality he resides in.
And once one country finds a justification, any justification, to use a nuclear weapon, what will stop another country from finding a justification?
A "first strike" will be the beginning of the end.
I'm quite sure he was referring to our other western allies, who would in fact find the use of any kind of nuclear weapon to be a contemptible act and would turn against us, and NOT to our terrorist enemies.
As to our terrorist enemies, why should anyone care what they think?
I was referring to nuclear weapons as a politico-military tool against our adversaries.

Look at all the ridiculous posts based on something one of the talking heads said from the most liberal and reliably anti-Trump network.
A spokesperson speaks for the candidate, similar to a press secretary speaking for the president.
If he didn't say that, why would she take it upon herself to say those things? If trump didn't agree he would have fired her and made a statement denouncing what she said.
Of course, that's what a NORMAL candidate would do..
She has not been fired, so people assume, and rightly so, that trump agrees with whatever she said.
