yeah, let's just conveniently forget that Japan attack us and was a well defined nation to wage war against as opposed to groups like al Qaeda, known to operate in more than 40 countries.

What would you suggest, a new Cabinet position in charge of determining which lucky nation gets to be first on our hit list?

North Korea has nukes.
Pakistan has nukes.

Those countries are not our friends.

Or is trump going to nuke those countries too?

What targets would Trump bomb?
Be specific, not just "Syria" or "Iran".

Immediate retaliation would be in the form of sanctions - even our allies would join in sanctions, boycotts, embargoes and seizing of US assets.

Trump truly is the mad man of Dr Strangelove, Bond, and other movies.

Don't worry so much! The nuclear-armed friends of our enemies will sit idly by and do nothing!

Don't you get it? The world is going to applaud us for dropping a few nukes! We'll be global heroes!

The sad part is, I think Felix really believes that.

Reading these threads is a freaky deja vu.

Comparisons have been made with the Trump campaign and that for UK leaving the EU. There is a direct correlation. Trump supporters are exactly the same as "Brexiteers". They have 10" thick skulls and the most obvious of obvious outcomes are completely lost on them. They were told by most politicians, 95% of economists, 95% of commentators that to leave the EU single market would trash the economy, but NO! They would not have it. And precisely that is happening. Higher growth than expected up to the vote - in freefall now.

They are completely and utterly deluded, and believe the world revolves around us. Just like Trumpeteers.

There are a lot of incredibly dim people in this world, and the time is ripe for the unscrupulous to exploit them. The tragedy is that they take us down with them.

He'd nuke Mexico first for sending us their rapists and murderers and, oops, the fallout would kill everything in Texas and the other Gulf States.

What planet are you on?

ISIS have followers all over the world busy plotting in their bedrooms. 99% are incompetent fools, but it only needs 1% to get lucky, and we get very unlucky.

Ask the French.

Nuking ISIS is about the dumbest thing I can manage to get my brain around. It would be a nuclear call to arms for their thousands of sympathisers who may well live next door to you. Comparisons with Japan are just beyond pathetic and just reveal how ignorant some people are.

Consider the sources (the people you're quoting).
