Checked out 538 today..... Clinton's chance of winning the WH if the election were held today?

88 percent.

It's over, kids.

And that's electoral votes.

Well then suggest you start chopping down trees, and building those coffins. Absent some miracle as things stand right now that carpet bagging Clinton woman will win the WH in November.

If anyone should be lined up and shot it is those that propelled DT to where he is now. Even Bernie's supporters knew when to give it up.

Sad thing is it didn't have to be this way. But again, a part of the Republican party cannot help itself and learned nothing from 2012; once again they are handing the WH to a Democrat that will take up where Obama left off.

If these persons are "angry" now; just wait until 2017 and the Clinton woman, Senator Warren, Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats get started.

The best Republicans as thing stand now can hope for in November is to keep the House. Given how that body had behaved under Republican control more like a kindergarten than a governing body, good luck with that. Anyway Clinton will simply continue where Obama left off, governing by EO and other administrative actions to get around Congress where possible.

You notice however the Republicans are not talking about the really big shoe; the Supreme Court. Clinton will get one shot off the bat in January 2017. If she really wants to stick it to the Republicans and all those "angry" persons she will nominate Obama, which if the Democrats take senate (as they are predicted to), he will be confirmed. Ginsburg can't live forever, neither will the really big conservative; Kennedy. Replacing the former won't change the balance of power, however if Kennedy goes during a Democratic presidency all bets are off.

Democrats are organized and likely already have a game plan and dirt to attack Pence if Trump drops out.

The GOP would have to decide whether to go with Pence or make a clean break from Trump & his VP pick and go with an anti-Trump - Cruz or Kasich.

Trashing Hillary with endless vacuous allegations seems to be Trumps only strategy. Its a strategy thats not working to gain the support of more voters and only makes him and by default the Republican party look shallow , petty and vindictive..

There are 2 procedural options:

1. The Party Chair calls a meeting of the National Committee, and the 168-member committee members would vote to fill the vacancy on the ticket. (A candidate must receive a majority of the votes to win the party's nomination.)

or 2. The RNC can reconvene the national convention “for the purpose of filling any such vacancies.”

Trump would have to opt out of the race by early September ( a month from now) for someone else to be on the ballot in enough states to win.

Problem for Trump is that things *have* gone that far and like a train at speed it cannot be stopped without causing damage (to him).

Again there really isn't a face saving way out or DT now, and time is running out for the Republican party. Come September when people are back from summer holidays and start truly paying attention to the November elections it will more difficult to get shot of DT and slip someone else in, and probably unfair. Debates have to be scheduled, and serious hard campaigning will also start.

Personally think the only way to get or have gotten rid of Trump by now is if someone found a terrific load of dirt. We're talking criminal investigation (FBI, SEC, IRS, etc...) that could result in serious consequences. DT won't release is taxes and if anyone knows something they aren't saying.
This is [pretty much] what I've been saying all along, since the early primary debates.

My question now, to all the people on this forum: All of you that bashed everyone as being a mindless, lemming, Trump-basher who just didn't understand him... Who were too stupid to understand his great intellect. All of those people, will we hear from you after he either looses in a landslide or bows out? Or will you continue and come up with some grand conspiracy scheme to justify your blind faith in a flawed and crooked candidate.

Crooked Donald is going down! America can breath a sigh of relief.
