In what is considered a must win swing State, Clinton now leads by 13%

See: New poll shows Clinton way up in Pa. - News - The Times-Tribune

Equally mportantly Trump is dragging down with him Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey who is behind 8%.

Who is surprised?

Take it away spin doctors.

God I LOVE Trump.
His stench is clinging to the entire GOP.
I've said ti before and I'll say it again - Trump is going to destroy the GOP.

I should add that the AVERAGE of all the polls already had here up by 5 points. That's BEFORE this latest (+13) poll gets factored in (RCP should be factoring it in tomorrow).
So much for Pennsylvania being up for grabs. Hillary will probably get all or nearly all of the swing states - resulting in an electoral college blowout.

Look - I live in Pennsylvania and I follow Pennsylvania politics closely.

I do NOT consider Pennsylvania a "swing state" when it comes to presidential races. It is a "blue" state - a light blue state - but a blue state nonetheless. Not as deep blue as our neighbors New York, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

The Keystone State has not supported a Republican candidate in nearly 30 years (1988 to be precise). The number of registered Democrats is significantly higher than registered Republicans. The GOP does better in the off year elections ... until the last one when Democrats captured the Governor's mansion and a string of other seats.

If Donald wants to concentrate on "swing" states it would wise for him to focus on states like Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin and perhaps Colorado and Arizona.

Well there is no way he will carry Florida with 12.5% of Latino vote.

At what point will Trump supporters wake up to fact?

When it looks like he will:

Loose a swing State?

Most swing States?

All swing States?

All States?

The worrying sign is that he is getting hammered in the suburbs. He has to offset his strong rural numbers with decent numbers there. He doesn't have to win them, but he has to do as good or a little better than Romney is did there.

His supporters likely never will. Base supporters are the most loyal out there. They are pretty much blind to the reality of the situation. This goes for ALL supporters of candidates as well. Clinton base supporters are just the same. They will be the ones taking polls apart trying to prove they are not accurate or claiming mass amounts of bias in things that don't paint their candidate favorably.

Since the voter registration changes and demographics took Colorado, Nevada, and Virginia away from them. That along with Trumps problems in suburban swing counties make PA a must win state for him this year.
