And? If you knew the story you made a real asinine statement seeing how its his MOTHER that's officially running it and all they are doing is getting the word out and signing ppl up to vote. Nothing more.
You may be as new to politics as you are to the City Data forums, but that is exactly how you try to get your candidate elected via an effective ground game. Which Trump is losing, bigly, in Colorado. And his mother stated she is the official coordinator on paper but has given her son most of the responsibility. So unless you are assigning meaning to words beyond what is commonly understood, the kid is running this campaign office.
And sadly, just like I did in the first campaign I worked on when I was 13, he's going to be supporting a losing candidate.
I think the fact that the kid is involved regardless of the side he is on is cute and a good thing. However, for the kid to basically be in charge (even if it is his mother on paper) of the campaign operations in a major suburban county of a swing state (and a county that has trended away from the GOP in recent years), is just bad strategy.
It's why Trump will be crushed on Election Day. His groupies do not understand the importance of a strong ground game run by people with experience. And, for some unknown reason, Trump is unwilling to put one in place.
according to a 2014 survey, 27% of kids age 10-16 listed POTUS as one of their top career choices.
That's pretty neat. I didn't know that. Two of our friends kids have their eyes set on the 2020 Olympics, want to be scientists, teachers or engineers.
