The people of the SOUTH - which is largely Republican today - created the KKK. Not the people of the NORTH - which is largely Democrat today - but the people of the SOUTH, you know, where YOU live. Maybe it was YOUR ancestors. The SOUTH has always been the center of white supremacist sentiment. That was true in 1860 and it's true today. Their favored party has changed, but their basic cultural sentiments have not. Southerner didn't like that northern Democrats welcomed Blacks into their fold in the 1960s. The folks running the GOP realized that and wooed them into the GOP. Now those white supremacist types that 100 years ago would have been Democrats have now essentially taken over the GOP.

Do you even read what you post? Apparently you didn't read what I posted, because that's essentially what I said - that the KKK is the spawn of the SOUTH. It was white supremacist back in the 1800's and it's STILL the center of white supremacist sentiment TODAY. The party's have changed, but the local sentiments are the same as they were back then.

Um...Get your head out of the sand long enough to really see what's going on. The ACA is bankrupting the country,slowly one person at a time. Rates have increased as high as 40% in some areas and going even higher next year. Aetna just announced they're pulling out of every state but 4 and lost over 430 MILLION to date and 200 MILLION just last quarter. United Health has also pulled out and has lost over 1 BILLION! Guess what happens when you take away the competition,even HIGHER RATES! These are real numbers not some made up ones from Fox News like you liberals would like to believe!

One of the most interesting aspects of this race is how little so many know about the process of these elections. They see trump running around screaming to the dumpster divers and think that's what the election is all about. Just plain naivete.
The reality is that most elections are about getting out the vote on Nov 8. The speeches made in Aug and Sept are long forgotten. The battle is won on the ground as voting day approaches. It's won as people understanding the electoral college work to garner the votes that matter. It's won by understanding your base and insuring they vote. It's won by having in place an infrastructure to do all the right things.
I get it; i understand why trumplings think the Donald has a chance. He's screaming louder, insulting more and firing up people to be angry at something, anything; it really doesn't matter as long as they hate.
Unfortunately, the vast majority fall in the middle of it all. They don't hate their lives, the people around them or the country they live in. The fringe on both sides are zealots, the masses are just folks who enjoy life and aren't looking for some sort of messiah (as trump as identified himself). Ultimately, they will be the ones who decide, and it won't be because they are filled with hatred and rage, but because Love trumps hate (sorry, couldn't resist).
