Coughing fits documented for over 6 months is not normal. If it's normal for you I suggest you see a doctor.

The meds cause her to relax her swallowing and breathing reflexes so when she starts coughing the last thing she should do is to drink water. That's only going to make things worse. It might make for a good Inauguration and State Of the Union Speech and Impeachment/ Resignation speech. She is not healthy. I have never known anyone that is healthy to have issues she seems to have for extended periods of time. I watched the coughing video. It is not normal.

DH has allergies for 10 months a year. He see the doctor regularly. He has had the shots and everything else. It is the way life is for some. He coughs and sneezes just like she did today.

ever get a tickle in your throat in church? Same thing happens to him all the time.

Just because it doesn't happen to you or yours does not mean it is not normal.

WHen my dog's allergies were bad and I would take him to the vet, the poor vet was sneezing and coughing like the dog. They were allergic to the same things.
