At least the American people are catching on. Media is becoming propaganda not news.

It really is insane how far left the media is leaning. I thought it used to be only NPR but now it is every network except FOX and they are a joke to most but right wingers.

The media used to be the balance between the parties but now it seems that they answer to one.

How did this happen?

It would be great if we could go back to honesty again and let the people decide for themselves.

This was in 2012 and it's worse now. Romney didn't call it out but Trump is and getting hammered for it from the press certainly but by some American people who support it for some reason.

He explains it, Nepotism with people married to the news people. People working in government married to people working in the press.

It happened b/c the citizens allowed it. People believe the lies they hear in the media. Obama had a 54% approval rating as recently as last week! This is despite the awful economy, news about secret exemptions to the Iran rule, and countless stories about the failures of Obamacare in the past few weeks alone.

Part of me wishes they could be held criminally liable for their transgressions. The press has its freedom because the rest of us are too busy living our lives to know what the government is doing and we rely on them to inform us.

The media in the 1950s and 60s would cower at the sight of a strong famous figure, think the wild nights of partying from NY Yankees baseball stars ever got reported? You think reporters ever said a word about Mickey Mantle and his 'wild times'? No, not a peep.

Not a peep.

Now, we have the media who think THEY are the stars, the 'oprah phenomenon' where the 'no name' intereviewer of famous people becomes more 'fascinating' than the superstar they're interviewing.

Look at these sports anchors for ESPN, they walk around like they're superstars and all they do is read sports scores from a teleprompter. Its a pretty amazing shift, its really coming down to newsmen and women thinking they're bigger than the story.

Money and power.

The majority of Americans have neither.

I don't care if they lie about celebrities, they don't affect our lives. Lying about the government and politicians do affect us.
