It must be really annoying to conservatives when reality just doesn't jibe with their dogma...

Exactly right. The worst thing is for the Fed to start dictating what salaries should be.
On another note. It's pretty scary when the Federal Government is our nation's largest employer. That takes a whole lot of tax dollars to cover that payroll and benefits.

Of course tax policy can make sure income and wealth inequality is reduced and people getting back the voice in the political system. To deny this is to deny reality.
Wealth and income inequality is NOT a problem.. government policies which limit competition to those who have it IS..

Again, when there is a profit in an industry, a free market system encourages others to chase it, thus reducing wealth and income inequality.. GOVERNMENT hinders this competition and CONTRIBUTES to it..

its YOU that dont comprehend this..

Pure income growth charges are pretty stupid given they dont account for disposable income etc..

Especially given economic policies take years to have an effect..

right...."government regulation" like overtime pay for workers is written to protect the wealth of the super rich... Thats why the donor class love the idea of paid family and medical leave and why America is the only country in the world together with Papua New Guinea that doesnt have paid family and medical leave.

yes, people like Warren Buffet, helped to encourage laws like overtime pay for workers..

tell me PCALMike.. how does overtime pay for workers, limit competition? Can you even follow along with the competition? We're talking about taxes, and you come back with overtime pay..

Is that why so many people are working 2 jobs now, because the employees dont want overtime pay?

bahahaha.. good one..

And the more wealth and income inequality there is, the more power they have to write laws in their favor! That of course includes patent laws and anti-trust legislation. I am sure you are against both patent laws and anti-trust legislation. But it is totally irrelevant. The fact is that you are merely ASKING the rich and the powerful to please stop using their power to their advantage. You dont understand that THEY WILL buy the political process. They will do what they can to lock you up and use you as a slave. They will buy the courts. You are so out of touch with reality when you deny that inequality is not a problem, you are basically like people denying gravity and evolution.
