Putin is a dictator. Russia does not have a Congress or a Supreme Count, Russia does not have a President- hating Republican party, Russia does not have a free press. You know what happens when you publicly criticize Putin ? Yes, you die - sometimes in a very unpleasant manner.

Be thankful you can type your criticisms without repercussions. So turn off the Fox news and use the brain that God gave you to think about what it means to be American on 9/11 and if you think Russia is so great go visit there to see what a wonderful socialist paradise it really is.

OP, did you skip school the days they taught this?

The American constitutional system includes a notion known as the Separation of Powers. In this system, several branches of government are created and power is shared between them. At the same time, the powers of one branch can be challenged by another branch. This is what the system of checks and balances is all about.

Of course he's "stronger." He kills people who disagree with him.

Gooooooo Putin!

Honestly, what's the deal with you Trump supporters? Republicans used to be all about small government and personal freedom. Now you and your candidate are praising a brutal Communist leader who would love to kick the United State's ass. I don't get it.

No, not really. They tend to be more ruthless in their policy's and enforcing them. They almost always enrich themselves in the process just like crooked Hillary with her slush fund foundation.

Do you know anything at all about Putin?

Trump goes all over the United States trashing our people and country. He calls our military weak and insults its members, says our cities are hellholes and makes it sound like this is the most miserable place on earth. Yeah, great "leader" that guy.

I have nothing against trying to improve relations with another country, even one that has been hostile.

But you started this thread by saying Putin is a stronger leader than Obama and have since IGNORED every single post explaining that dictators are always strong leaders, because they jail, torture and kill the opposition.

Kim Jung Un is a very strong leader. He recently killed one of his cabinet members for falling asleep during a meeting. Saddam Hussein was a very strong leader. He lured his sons-in-law back to Iraq with promises of forgiveness and then tortured and murdered them.

Is that the kind of leader you want?

If it is, just say so.
