Author David Cay Johnston describes in book how Trump was able to get hundreds of hungry Polish workers to demolish building. The "union was under the control of mobsters…"

So what do you think the author implied by "...." is Trump a mobster?"

Full interview an interesting read.

I am really focused on the issues in the election: the economy, jobs, security and healthcare.

My only guess that someone might think that Trump was a mobster would be that he socially engaged himself with the Clintons, a known crime family. When you move among people like that, it can damage your reputation among the honest and law-abiding.

Actually I live on my yacht, unlike Trump who lost his in a bankruptcy.

I also do not engage with the Clinton's. They don't live in Hawaii and never were sailors.

Thanks for posting this great information.

Trump is nothing more than a thug and a clown. Thank God after November 9, we won't have to see his Orange face age.

I should say it's a fascinating read.

Johnston describes Trump as the "P. T. Barnum of our time," and how throughout his career Trump has had business partners and associates from organized crime.

"He has traveled all across America with Felix Sater, a convicted violent felon and stock swindler… There’s photographs and videotapes of them meeting together. Sater had an office in the Trump organization’s main suite of offices at Trump Tower and a business card describing him as “senior advisor” to Trump."

To head off those who post that Johnston is not a reliable source of information.

"Johnston won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting, as well as the Investigative Reporters & Editors (IRE) Medal and a George Polk Award. An ex-president of IRE, he wrote several New York Times bestsellers. A former Times reporter, Johnston has focused on economics and taught tax at Syracuse University College of Law.

Sadly conservatives tend to close their ears and not want to read information like this.

They are convinced that information like this only confirms there is a conspiracy against their candidate.
