Of course Trump, who is clearly no fan of women that aren't a half-dressed 10, would attend the funeral of Phyllis Schlafly, who successfully opposed the Equal Right Amendment against gender discrimination. We know a lot of Trump supporters tend to be elderly women who hate other women and men who tend to say terrible things about women, but it's amazing to see Trump so proudly against women to the point that he would go to a tribute for Phyllis Schlafly, of all people.

Trump honors 'true patriot' Phyllis Schlafly at her funeral - POLITICO

"Schlafly, the political activist who galvanized grassroots conservatives to help defeat the ERA and effectively push the Republican party to the right..."

"Schlafly supported the party's platform, which condemned same-sex marriage and gay civil rights. Soon after, a New York gay magazine outed her oldest child, John, then a 41-year-old lawyer who helped run the Eagle Forum."

'Don't call me Ms. ... it means misery': Phyllis Schlafly, anti-feminist and conservative activist, dies at 92 - LA Times

Trump is exactly what I would expect to be supported by the Republican Party.

So she gets to be eulogized by Donald Trump? Karma works fast these days.

So you are ok with Hillary calling a lifelong racist Democrat Senator Byrd her mentor.

Senator Byrd opposed the Civil Rights Act, and took part in a filibuster to stop it?

Senator Byrd that opposed the Civil Rights Act with a filibuster?
We know how the passing of the Civil Right Act changed both parties 50 years ago. Trump attended anti-gay, anti-feminist Phyllis Schlafly's funeral yesterday.

except for that "truth" part.

At the Democratic National Convention in 1960, a proposal to endorse the ERA was rejected after it met explicit opposition from liberal groups including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the AFL–CIO, labor unions such as the American Federation of Teachers, Americans for Democratic Action (ADA), the American Nurses Association, the Women's Division of the Methodist Church, and the National Councils of Jewish, Catholic, and Negro Women.

You are citing 1960, maybe you didn't read the timeline.

Phyllis Schlafly, the political activist who galvanized grass-roots conservatives in the 1970s to help defeat the Equal Rights Amendment and effectively push the Republican Party to the right for decades, died Monday at 92.

Heard him talk about Phyllis in a speech last week. But he didn't know how to say her last name. Pretended like he knew her well.
Phoney.

Hillary praised, and called this racist her mentor a few years ago.

Hillary's racist mentor Senator Byrd used the "N" work just a few years before his death. Byrd was a lifelong racist.

She truly was. It's astounding that Trump would eulogize her but I'm not surprised. She was anti-gay even though her own child was gay.
