The Fed is now the #1 employer in the country. That is wrong beyond words.
The answer is that the Clintons have never really ran a business. They have certainly put more than a few companies out of business with NAFTA.
Trump has also been ahead of time in filing bankruptcy and failing projects.

So according to Trumpettes, Hillary has the better business record since she has never failed. I think I heard them before say that Trump is a better politician because he has never made any mistakes as a public sector worker. Well same logic applies here.

"Winning control of this magnificent, taxpayer-owned building — long coveted by developers and by one of Washington’s most notoriously corrupt lobbyists — was a remarkable coup for Trump. It is unusual for someone to personally profit from such a prominent contract with the government while at the same time seeking to win that government’s highest office."

Trump won the bid largely because of promises to "employ the architect who had, over decades, championed the building’s careful, historic restoration. And he promised the involvement of a multibillion-dollar real estate investment firm with a rock-solid financial reputation."

"After Trump’s team got the nod from the GSA, however, it reversed itself on both these promises."

Steven L. Schooner, a professor of contracting law at The George Washington University Law School who has monitored the transaction, said Trump’s deal is “at a minimum a conflict of interest, that a presidential candidate or president could personally benefit or lose sums of money on this scale based on a contractual relation with the federal government.”

Not my logic for sure.
I am no Trump supporter, but the fact remains that the Clintons through NAFTA have killed more businesses than Trump has ever owned.
At the end of the day Clintons have created very few jobs and have by far destroyed more businesses.
What do the Clintons know about private sector?

But it shall not be said that I can't give credit where due. So, for the record: I think it's fair to say that Trump is extremely likely to be the Presidential candidate with the best track record in the hospitality industry that this nation has ever seen. If we are ever facing a national crisis where extensive experience in the hotel and golf business is critically necessary, we will regret not electing Trump to office.

Of course, that may not be the likeliest of scenarios...

Looks like he knows how to pick people and push them to get things done and not lolligag around

Obviously Trump thinks he can impress voters with this hotel. He has been talking about it forever, calling all media outlets so that they cover the boring opening of a hotel most Americans are not planning to stay at. Trump is still stuck in the 1980's when he impressed Americans with his yuppy lifestyle.

Newsflash Orange Old fart: The world has changed. You are not impressing anyone with your private Jet, gold-rimmed penthouse and luxury hotels. This is the Walmart, Amazon.com, Dollar General and Priceline.com generation.

Little Baron: Dad... Why do you do this to me?"
Melania: I hope the photoshop this picture so I look like another person
Trump: I am rich

That picture you put up is BAD A$$!!!

That's who I want to be my president.

You bring a good point - Hillary has never ran a business.

One can say with her management skills - she has played a leading role in running a country. Deeper in debt, lower income, more unemployment, more.... Time for a change, no more lies!!!

Can anyone compare if Hillary has done (built) anything - ahead of schedule and under budget?

Better question - what has Hillary completed ahead of schedule and under budget?

..

She may have built a snowman as a youth but everything after that had the same problem as the snowman. It melts away into nothing. Thirty five years in public life when boiled down to accomplishments looks like evaporation to inflate a political gasbag.

I read the Buzzfeed hit piece this morning - I've been following the Trump Hotel on Pennsylvania Ave, in a remarkable location midway between the White House & the US Capitol. No Moss on this rolling Trump Train.

The decision to award the contract to Trump was announced in 2012 with considerable fanfare, but the details of how he actually won the bid — beating out teams that included major hotel chains and then locking in near-total control of the landmark — have remained largely unknown. A spokesperson for the federal agency that handled the transaction, the General Services Administration, or GSA, called it “one of the most highly scrutinized deals” the agency has ever done, but it has kept many details hidden, heavily redacting the property’s lease and refusing to release Trump’s initial proposal. Officials declined BuzzFeed News’ requests for interviews about how the deal was struck and did not respond to questions in time for publication.

Six insiders who were involved in the project, working either for Trump or for the government, discussed the details with BuzzFeed News. They spoke on the condition that they remain unnamed, some for fear of lawsuits, some because they are not allowed to speak publicly.

Buzzfeed can't give the reader a single source - it's all speculation. The Wa****orian (magazine about Inside the Beltway & the really chic things going on) did an article about Arthur Moore (5th Generation Washington Family- age 81) and how he contacted Mr Trump to join his crusade to "save" The Old Post Office ... Moore had done a restoration on the late 1800's building in 1947 and it had devolved into a 'fast food court/tourist trinket horror. Moore always thought it was the perfect spot for a restoration/renovation into a Grand Hotel - he called the Grand Hotel Guru to see if he was interested. All that was in 2012 - the contract and Negotiations were complete in 2013. The Washington Post wrote that Mrs Moore had to call Mr Trump and tell him that Arthur could not continue as the Archetec partner, due to his health.

Oddly enough -- there was a lot of excitement about turning this historic building into a First Class Hotel ......
Until Trump decided 2 years later to run for President. He is threat to their Gravy Train & we Deplorables LOVE that about him.

The Washington Political Elite is NOT a fan of The Donald ... They ALL Fear him, but the Ledtists particularly Hate him now that he is running against the Presumptive Queen. The Hotel had a soft opening today, with a Grand Opening in October & I hear that Trump has an inside track for Inaugural Balls & Parties.

Trump gained control of building in 2012.

It has taken about 4 full years.

For comparison Empire State Building start to finish was 410 days.

The Chinese put up 57 story building in 19 days (not including fitting rooms).

Small wonder Trump needs to charge $500-$700 for base room.
