According to Factcheck.org: Trump on Clinton’s Child Care Plan

  • Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump falsely claimed that Hillary Clinton “has no child care plan” and “never will.” In fact, Clinton’s proposals for child care and paid family leave have been posted on her campaign website for months.
  • Even the Trump campaign website acknowledges that Clinton does, indeed, have a plan. It says: “Donald J. Trump’s Plan Is More Complete Than Hillary Clinton’s Plan.”
  • Ivanka Trump also incorrectly said that all of Trump’s thousands of employees had a paid parental leave benefit. They don’t, according to the Trump Organization and reporting by the Huffington Post.

Comparison between Clinton and Trump's plan:

Not only does Clinton have a plan, it's more comprehensive than Trump's.

On the other hand, the property tax is a cost that is built into the amount charged for rent. If the tax rises, the landlord will raise the rent. However, the deduction isn't shared to the renters.

It is the same with the home mortgage deduction. Homeowners get it but renters get no deduction.

In any case, this discussion is off topic.

Nutty Don is using the GOP tax plan and is saying those tax cuts will result in 4% GDP growth. Trickle down economics at its worst.

I have seen the GOP tax plan here in NC a flat payroll tax. No deductions, resulting in higher real estate taxes, property taxes (yes you pay taxes on personal property on top of real estate taxes. Cars, boats, jet skis anything that the GOP says needs to be taxed.)sales taxes (everything is now taxed,,including labor costs.),water taxes (they even tried to tax private well water), sewer taxes and every fee you can imagine. They cut the budget so much that pay for play in local HS costs families with 2 kids in HS $550/ year.
This GOP utopia should be leading the nation in growth and job creation, instead we are below the averages. So the GOP plan is to mess up the entire country to make its plan look good.

Actually, the amt of rent a landlord charges is dictated by the market rate for rent. Sometimes a landlord has to charge lower rent than what the landlord pays out in mortgage/taxes/insurance/upkeep.

Landlords don't get to automatically deduct all their interest and taxes like regular homeowners that live in their homes. Landlords can only deduct when what they pay out is more than the rent they receive.

Them not earning enough income to earn tax credits would be LEACHES on society and thus collecting welfare. Most people I know, would understand that someone paying less taxes, is better for the government than someone collecting without paying anything into the system..

YOU think it through..

WRONG.. one persons deductions does NOT mean someone else pays more. Stop being ridiculous..

We can see this in our own history of the middle-class society that baby boomers like me grew up in that the redistribution that you detest lowers inequality. This didn’t happen by accident; it was created by the New Deal, which engineered what economists call the “Great Compression,” a sharp reduction in income gaps. On one side, pro-labor policies led to a striking expansion of unions, which, along with the establishment of a fairly high minimum wage, helped raise wages, especially at the bottom. On the other side, taxes on the wealthy went up sharply, while major programs like Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP and low income tax-credits have indeed helped reduce the gap in inequality. That's a good thing.

The working poor are not "leeches" and the idea is antithetical to America's ideals.
