I thought this was the best part of that trip:
Rev. Faith Green-Timmons, an African-American pastor in this predominantly Democratic city, didn't want to hear it and stepped in to stop him.
“Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we’ve done in Flint,” Rev. Faith Green Timmons said as she approached Trump. “Not to give a political speech.”
A chastened Trump quickly looked to smooth things over.

You really shouldn't have started a thread about Trump in Flint, considering he got owned by that lady pastor.

Was it republican government in Michigan that lead to the Flint water problem?
Yes it was.
I can't imagine Trump helping working people. He an his father never have. From real estate and mortgage scams, to fake universities - he's a con artist and nothing more.

1) It is not her house...it's God's house. Methodist change out their pastors sometimes yearly.
2) It's a Methodist church. Methodist churches are more liberal
3) I've heard several Methodist pastors support the democratic ticket during church services. Which is part of the reason we left the Methodist church.
Trump's quote is right though. Gotta give the man credit for it.
“It used to be cars were made in Flint, and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico,” Trump stated. “Now, the cars are made in Mexico and you can’t drink the water in Flint.”
So did she want to hear what he had to say, or was it just a set up?
