LBJ wore on his lapel the sliver star either he earned or did not in WWII. He still messed up in Vietnam.

Nixon wore on his lapel a flag pin. Then he tried to subvert the constitution.

Because they're getting scared.

Look at all the threads attacking Obama.

And the Religious Right has nothing.

These are great days to be an American. We just might get our country back.

That is one cryptic post. I don't know whether to pitch a rock at you or leap to my feet and applaud.

Please translate so I'll know how to act.

Obama started wearing the FLAG way before becoming President. Open your eyes once in a while. Oh!, That's what you just did.

From the 14 Points of Fascism by Dr. Britt:

1. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism

From the prominent displays of flags and bunting to the ubiquitous lapel pins, the fervor to show patriotic nationalism, both on the part of the regime itself and of citizens caught up in its frenzy, was always obvious. Catchy slogans, pride in the military, and demands for unity were common themes in expressing this nationalism. It was usually coupled with a suspicion of things foreign that often bordered on xenophobia.
