Simple choice for me.

I actually voted for George W Bush in both 2000 and in 2004. In 2000, I thought he was a better candidate than Al Gore, who struck me as dull, uninspiring, and not likely to be able to work with a Republican congress. In 2004, my opinion of GWB had dropped, but IMO John Kerry didn't make the case for replacing GWB.

I'm never going to vote for Donald J Trump. While I am in favor of things like tax reform, immigration reform, better trade deals, practical solutions for the effects of globalization, etc., DJT would be a disaster as POTUS. I don't like him, I don't respect him, he's slimy, he's full of crap, he panders to bigots, and IMO he's the closest thing to a proto-fascist presidential candidate that I've ever seen.

If those were my choices, I think I'd sell all my possessions and go live in a zen monastery. I could use the vacation from real life.

I would suggest staying away from this thread. Bush is not running for president.

Nothing constructive here... only destructive...

I would suggest manning up and answering the question posited. If you're a true Trump supporter, then you should be flooding this poll with votes for him.

R versus R in a general election. That's a dumb poll.

Bush was awful. Trump is an unknown.

I most definitely did not vote for Bush when he was running, but Trump makes it clear that it's all relative. Esp. if we got Cheney off the ticket!

But I'm not. Nor was I a Bush supporter. And there is nothing that either requires me to cast a vote or that requires me to remain silent.

Fair enough...but then I was addressing the Trump faithful...who seem to be curiously lacking in their support of the Donald in this thread.
