That's what educated people do.

Waling away from an international conference is a sign of competence?

Only in your world. In the real world, leaders show up rested, prepared, and ready to get serious for as long as it takes. Diplomacy is neither a gentle nor an easy game. One mis-spoken word can have disastrous consequences, and only the most irresponsible leaders ever try to take their ball and go home.

Donald Trump would be up against some of the most mentally tough people in the world on those occasions. They would play him like a $5 dollar poker chip on in a million-dollar game. He doesn't have the attention span to keep up with the play.

Taking time to prepare is akin to taking a vacation in the land of Trumpistan?

I am beginning to suspect that the majority of Trump followers topped out in high school - back when the antics of the class clown were like, so cool and the boring overachievers were Dullsville and not invited to the good parties.

You do realize that Trump is educated, correct? I work under a highly educated attorney (ivy league undergrad, ivy league law school and ivy league MBA). He is highly unprepared for almost all of his oral arguments. Strangely, he seems to win most of them

Hillary was on vacation when she was NYS Senate, Secretary of State & First Lady. Well, she did one thing which was to vote for the Iraq War

So, in other words, since your boss is unprepared, flying by the seat of your pants is always a good thing.
Maybe it is, for a single lawyer. I suspect all the folks who lost due to his lack of preparation may disagree.

But running for the President of the United States of America is not the same as running a local law office, no matter how good or bad the law office may be.

Of course, Trump is educated. No multi-millionaire's son is ever sent into the adult world with only a high school degree. Trump would never have been kicked out of any college, ever- there's too much money in play for that to happen.

How has Orange Don used his education is the real question. Not well, from the fact that he lost a cool Billon Dollars when his education was still fresh enough to matter. Obviously, education alone makes no difference by itself in any of Donald's many bad decisions.

For others who don't have chronic narcissism, education is a good thing. For Donald Trump, his diploma is just another gold-plated object he uses to preen his inflated sense of self esteem with.

That usually means only that his client has more resources, better facts, stronger bargaining position, or more expensive attorneys.

I have no problem that Hillary prepares for debates.

Just wondering if Trump would fly home to Trump Tower every night to sleep in his golden penthouse, as he does now.

Trump might have a fancy degree but he's incredibly incurious and ignorant about many things, especially national policy and civics.

And how he got that fancy Wharton degree? Well, he was a transfer from Fordham (which is a pretty good school) - and reportedly the admissions folks were good friends with his brother or his dad. He certainly didn't make any lasting impressions while he was a student there.
