I don't believe this world will ever see a Hitler again. Even though what Hitler ultimately did was not his original plan, he changed his plan and it took the world too long to catch up to him until after he had slaughtered millions of human beings.

There are still atrocities going on in this world. Innocent lives are being lost daily, and lots of them. Trump really isn't much different than Hitler was in the beginning. I was a true Trump follower in the beginning, because it seemed like he was speaking to me. He seemed to care about me more than a "Washington politician" like Clinton does.

But now after two debates and much campaigning, sadly our choices are still terrible. I think we have two candidates that can't be trusted. We can believe Clinton has had people killed. We can believe she's a liar about the emails. But there's an underlying intangible to Trump that seems a bit scary to me. Again, I don't think if he became president there'd be another mass genocide. But it doesn't change the fact that in a powerful political office, he could be a very scary person potentially, even more so than Clinton.

I think, yes, he is definitely a dangerous fascist, but thankfully the world will be spared such a tragedy, and he will lose big, as long as people come out to vote.

Of course, if Trump becomes president, he is going to commit genocide... he'll probably start somewhere in NYC and he will enlist New Yorkers to do it... seriously? /end sarcasm

What protects us from a fascist dictatorship is our three arms of government, a president cannot do much without the support of congress. Trump has made many enemies during this campaign, on both sides of the aisle, it would be difficult to impossible for him to accomplish much of what he claims.

He won't have a chance because he is not going to win on 11/8.

Germany had a parliamentary system when Hitler came into power. Think about that. The issue is Trump is very Nixonian and even Hitlerish when it comes to political enemies. We are better than this.

We should never think that Hitler couldn't happen again. Never forget. Never grow complacent.

It's not Trump who worries me in this regard - it's Trump supporters.

I know there isn't such a thing as never. But the comparisons to early Hitler and early Trump are there.I'm not complacent. Being Jewish I will never forget, and in fact no one should ever forget whether they are Jewish or not. I just believe we get information too fast to allow such a thing to happen, even if it got started. And I don't believe Trump is the next coming of Hitler, but I do believe he has character traits that just may not be fit for such a powerful political office.

In Hitler's case, the Nazi party became a majority part in parliament, so Hitler had free reign. I think Trump wouldn't make it past a single term and he wouldn't have any particular support from either party.
