Thanks for posting! I love John Oliver and don't catch his show as often as I would like.

I don't disagree with anything that you said. The GOP fuc*ed up big time, and they will get blown away on Election Day. But I just find it to be a huge double-standard that Ted Kennedy was a beloved figure on the left for many decades after he killed somebody. I can't think of a single prominent Democrat who ever harshly condemned him and said that he belonged in prison.

By contrast, scores and scores of prominent Republicans have trashed Mr. Trump, even though his most reprehensible actions pale in comparison to what Kennedy did. Obviously, it is a moral outrage that so many Republicans continue to make excuses for Trump, and the GOP deserves to pay a price for that. But if one wants to compare the morality of the GOP as a whole with the morality of the Democratic Party as a whole, it is very important to contrast the way many Republicans have condemned Trump to the adoration that the entire Democratic Party has long had for Kennedy.

Ill also blame the media for not exposing the Trump tapes during the primaries. But they wanted Trump as a easy opponent for Clinton, and its close to backfiring.

He did kill her! He left her for dead because he was a freaking coward and didn't save her because he was doing damage control to avoid scandal. If he had made an effort to save her and couldn't, I would have more respect. But what he did was worse than anything Trump did, and he was affectionately known as the Lion of the Senate.

And these Hollywood entertainers have some nerve getting all sanctimonious when you know there are pedophile rings where they pass young kids around for sex. What about the casting couch? Give me a break!

All presidents killed people if you want to include war.

And, frankly--that Nixon was a paranoid, conspiracy laden, sleazeball criminal. Who knows?
So is Hillary Clinton. She has hidden more secrets from the American people than Nixon ever did.
