Thank Trump? For what?
For being the one person who is actually worse than Clinton and therefor making her a electable candidate, when all the GOP had to do was give the people someone who is not Trump? Or should I thank him for dragging the presidential election process to a new low, now residing with Reality TV? After all I have never seen presidential candidates and there standards being compared to Reality TV personalities or Rap starts, until Trump came along. But in order to make him acceptable many of his worshippers did exactly that. Trump talks about how he likes to feel women up and his apologists say so what Rap Artists rap about this all the time. LOL

This shouldn't be overlooked. The Trump luxury brand is toast.

He could probably be successful opening trailer parks in various Deep South states though.

Trump deserves credit for two things.
1. Showing how widespread the corruption is, including the media.
2. Showing how stupid the American public is, that is going to put a criminal like Hillary Clinton into office despite massive amounts of corruption and wrongdoing.

But addressing it can help us move forward in a better way. Hiding 'how we feel' is never good, if we have hate in our hearts, lets get it out there and figure out why.

Quick question for the panel here, do you feel like you WANT to be a better person just because this election is so nasty that you're feeling 'uncomfortable' about all of it and want to pass on a better and nicer way of doing things? I'm not suggesting drastic changes, but have you seen that you want to be nicer to your fellow man? Maybe you drive more courteously on the roads, hold open a door for someone that you might not have held open a year ago, things like that.

Trump has made this a better place to live in my opinion, he's forcing us to really THINK about our elected officials and what's in their heart and motives, that's never a bad thing no matter how uncomfortable the truth may be.

The truth hurts sometimes, but its better to feel the hurt so we can heal and learn from it, lets be a better society and i think we are moving towards that direction.

This poll just came out today:

Quote:
Nearly two-thirds of voters characterized the 2016 election as "extremely or very uncivil." (An iron-stomached 11 percent found it "extremely or very civil.")

It's not clear who is to blame.

Most of those surveyed by Zogby identify the less decorous tone with Donald Trump: 59 percent found the Republican nominee "extremely or very uncivil," nearly double the 32 percent who said the same of Hillary Clinton. Trump and his supporters delight in being "politically incorrect." Yet 45 percent said both parties were responsible for declining civility in 2016, compared to one-third who said this in 2010.
