I have a few Evangelic Republicans in my family who love Trump. They like Trump's anti immigrant message and wouldn't vote for Cruz or Rubio because they were Hispanic.
I'm not a fan of Trump as a person or candidate but I do think he is more of an outsider than Cruz. Cruz tried to portray himself as an outsider, but I think Republicans sniffed out the falseness of that.

Plus, he is creepy in an ambiguous way.
Yep. Just something about his manner. More snake oil salesman than constitutional conservative.

Because the racist rhetoric Trump was spreading was more appealing to that group of people who vote republican.

After they heard Trump say that Mexico was sending criminals, rapists and drug traffickers many of those Cruz supporters who were freedom fighters and "anti-establishment" changed their vote to Trump

It's probably because Republican voters despise Harvard educated lawyers.

So why did Republican voters choose Trump over Cruz? If you could do it all over again, would you still choose Trump?
Lying Ted......

Cruz had a nasty habit of lying, so Trump had a point, and people knew it.

Rubio would have beaten Hillary easily. Too bad he allowed Trump to get in his head.

Donald Trump doesn't have a nasty habit of lying?

Because their unhinged anger with BO prevailed over doing what was SMART like nominating Kasich or Rubio. So they chose the vessel for their anger (the Sniffer) and thereby, delivered the WH on a silver platter to HC, and essentially assuring 4 and more than likely 8 more years of BO type governance.

Thanks for being so stupid Repubs and can't wait for HC to start making SC nominations.!
