Awesome! I bet I used all of my rep points in this thread alone today!

For me, it all centers around nationalism (Trump) vs globalism (Clinton). Having learned that cleared up any doubt that a vote for Trump was the way to go and not even so much for Trump but for the movement to save nationalism, the very fiber of who we are as a country and a people.

If anyone reading this is "on the fence" please read the linked articles for an understanding of nationalism and globalism, don't wish you had been better informed when it is too late:

It's not the federal government that is blocking that. It is the states and the insurance companies themselves.

States already have full authority to decide whether or not to allow sales across state lines and, if so, under what circumstances. Only a couple of states have enacted any across state lines legislation. (A couple of them did so before the ACA). No out-of state insurers have entered in any of these markets or indicated their intent to do so as a result of the states’ across state lines legislation.

http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/...purchases.aspx

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), Section 1333 permits states to form health care choice inter-state compacts to allow insurers to sell policies in any state participating in the compact. Two or more states may enter into compacts under which one or more insurance plans may be offered in the such states, subject to the laws and regulations of the state in which it was written.

Tax rates
The Trump Plan will collapse the current seven tax brackets to three brackets. The rates and breakpoints are as shown below. Low-income Americans will have an effective income tax rate of 0. The tax brackets are similar to those in the House GOP tax blueprint.
Brackets & Rates for Married-Joint filers:
Less than $75,000: 12%
More than $75,000 but less than $225,000: 25%
More than $225,000: 33%
*Brackets for single filers are ½ of these amounts
  • The Trump Plan protects all low-income and middle-income Americans and lowers their taxes. As the Tax Foundation put it: “Donald Trump’s plan is a tax cut for all income groups, while Hillary Clinton’s plan is a tax increase on selected income groups”. The Tax Foundation determined that, on average, taxpayers will receive a tax cut of $1,818 under the Trump Plan, but a tax increase of $176 under the Clinton plan. [Tax Foundation, Sept. 23, 2016]
Your source the "Tax Foundation" is funded by large corporations and the Koch brothers. These groups want CEO tax cuts, corporate tax cuts, and corporate deregulation.

Tax Foundation - SourceWatch
What Do the Koch Brothers Want? - Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont

And your source mentions nothing about deficits, debt, or the distribution of Trumps tax cuts (leaving out the middle 20% of Americans get 8% of Trumps tax cuts, and the richest 5% of Americans get 51% of Trumps tax cuts.)

Donald Trump's Tax Plan Would Cost $12 Trillion | CTJReports

Quote:
[*]Donald J. Trump’s tax plan will increase the economy and grow jobs by almost 2 million, while Hillary Clinton’s tax plan will shrink the economy and lose 300,000 jobs.
Donald Trumps tax cuts distribute the tax cuts almost exactly the same way as GW Bush's tax cuts.
Bush Tax Cuts After 2002: June 2002 CTJ Analysis

And Obama extended 82% of the Bush Tax Cuts (and added nearly $3 trillion dollars to our national debt doing it.)
Budget Deal Makes Permanent 82 Percent of President Bush

Question,

Since 2004 the Bush tax cuts have been happening, have you noticed a improved economy and job growth due to the Bush tax cuts?

Quote:
In combination with the total economic reform agenda, the Trump economic plan will create at least 25 million jobs over the next 10 years. [Tax Foundation, Sept. 19, 2016], [Tax Foundation, Jan. 26, 2016].[/list]
51% of Trumps tax cuts will go to the richest 5% of Americans. And these are the same Americans who build US factories in China and build US costumer service centers in India.

Please explain how Trumps tax cuts for the richest 5% will create jobs, in a way like the following example.

When you give low income Americans and the middle class tax cuts it gives them more money to spend in the economy. This extra spending increases the sales of goods, then increases the production of goods, and then requires more employees to sell the extra goods.

How will Trumps tax cuts for the richest 5% create jobs?

Mexicans have always made up America's largest illegal immigration group.

But today more Mexicans are leaving America than coming in.

I support Trump because:

1) He will get that 800 mile wall built at our southern border---and will also secure the border.

2) He has exposed the whole rotten, corrupt system where politicians on both sides of the aisle are beholden to their mega-rich donors and thus put said donors ahead of their constituents. As a result, Trump is a threat to the entrenched politicians because should he win, they no longer will be able to feed at the trough.

It amazes me that so many voters are content with the status quo in this regard!

3) He is against illegal immigration and wants to see it end. He has no problems speaking up about this while other politicians tiptoe around the issue. Why do they tiptoe around it? See #2

4) He wants to properly vet any potential immigrants who want to come here from countries that are hostile to us.

5) He wants to bring back manufacturing jobs to this country and has a valid plan to do so.

6) He wants to end H1-B visa abuse and corruption. Again, he has a plan to tackle this.

7) SCOTUS appointments.

Healthcare, women's healthcare & the abortion debate thing, removing safeguards in the wholesale removal of regulations, the possibility he will unthinkingly trigger a nuclear war. He has no substance, he lies when he says that he has any idea for a 'security plan'. He has deep character flaws that make him unsuitable to be president. His history implies that he would try to take the easy way out of everything, would lose interest very quickly, and just screw things up royally.

oh, wait, were you asking for what issues I would support him for? None.

Once again you have an issue with reading comprehension. The thread clearly stated that it was for Trump voters. The OP wanted to know why those voting for Trump were doing so. The OP did not ask for Hillary supporters to come on here and write snotty posts. You have plenty of threads to preach about whatever it is that Hillary is going to do...thus far we haven't seen a single positive thing, just how much she intends to destroy everything. So go to those threads and spread your hate.

I knew you would come to the other side, since this thread is titled 'trump voters' and you're in it, congratulations, you're on the moral side now. Feels good, doesn't it?
