Supposedly, the most accurate poll in the country shows Clinton ahead of Obama nationally by 1 point. So, I don't know where the Obama people are getting their figures. Subjective surveys, maybe?

National Poll of Polls (Source: CNN)

Likely Democratic primary voters' choice for nominee
Clinton -- 44 percent
Obama -- 43 percent
Unsure -- 13 percent

13% unsure is a huge question mark. I'm praying for a win for Hillery in TX and Ohio and a brokered convention for the entertainment factor. It's been a wild and wooly election cycle for both the dem's and rep's so who knows, I may get my wish.

Most of the posters here use Real Clear Politics. They compile polls from various sources, including CNN.

Here is a link directly to the Dem nomination poll page:

A brokered convention may be entertaining to outsiders, but it would not be good for Democratic chances in Nov.

Unless something unusual happens, Hillary should, for the good of the party, withdraw from the race on Mar. 5th. That way, the party will have time to mend some fences, heal some wounds and get ready to take on the real enemy, the Republicans.

The Poll of Polls, which is what I cited, analyzes all of the various other polls and supposedly provides the most accurate read.

Only CNN would say there is a definitive "National Poll of Polls". Who runs it?

In other words, you want the Hillary people just to pack it up and support Obama en masse. Ain't going to happen.
