Trump is no longer posting directly to Twitter. His phone has been taken away. He now must give instructions to his staff for all Tweets - and his staff filters the Tweets before posting them.

They Finally Took Away Donald Trump's Twitter Account

...Trump tweets from an Android phone, the last tweet Trump sent himself appears to have gone out at 8:30 a.m. last Thursday.

Oh lord. If he is elected, maybe the Chief of Staff, Steve Bannon, can take away the nuclear football because Trump is too temperamental, impulsive and dumb. How absurd it this?

It was very important to the campaign to hide the true nature of their utterly unqualified and intemperate candidate, so scripting him and preventing him from any unscripted interactions (note that they don't even trust him to be interviewed by anyone other than his friends, because they don't trust him) is their only hope.
