It does not sit well with me that a sitting President, as well a Vice President & the First Lady spend tax payer money $$$$$$ traveling all over the country campaigning for Hillary Clinton.
1) They should be doing their job, not spending their time trying to get Hillary Clinton elected.
2) It costs the taxpayer money for all 3 of them to do this. It is not like they are flying commercial & paying for it themselves, right?
So, how can this be right? How can it be fair to the other party?
How can this be fair to our country? It seems that Obama has spent a lot of time campaigning, for all of his 3 terms!
If he is supposed to be the President, working for the people why is it OK for him to spend the time he should be working on HIS JOB, campaigning for Clinton?
And to make matters worse, it is OBAMA, BIDEN & Michelle Obama! It takes money & time for them to be doing this!
This is the system as it now exists! It is allowed, just like it is allowed to not pay income tax if you have no legal obligation to do so! Lots of things that sure don't seem right to allow to exist still do exist. Frustrating.....
Same deal with the congress, house and senate. They are all out campaigning since the start of the August recess. They still draw their paycheck. And don't do much when they are at work.
What about the fact that duties aren't being fulfilled while he's jetting around the country? That's a bigger issue to me.
Which duties? Do you not know that Air Force one is a mobile office?
