Were you one of those who "guessed" that he would never be president?

I expect one of two things to happen in the Democratic Party. 1) They stay on course with the Pelosi/Obama types in leadership and the lose seats in the mid-term or 2) They overthrow the leadership and rebuild with non-establishment moderates. Only the latter will give them a chance in 2020 depending on President Trump's performance.

That would be a hard one for them to pull off because of the way they have built their base.

IMO, she was barely able to handle this election. After 4 more years of heavy drinking I don't think she will be up to the task. That will also make her 74 or so when she takes office.

I would think that after losing 2 national elections, she would have learned her lesson by now.

Clinton Undermining Trump’s Legitimacy to ‘Keep Her Options Open for 2020’
The pres. election of 2020 might be a bridge too far for Hillary. For now, there are rumblings among Democrats in NE coast, she might be eying up the NYC mayor job. She would be a shoo in for it , given the amount of rabid liberals in NYC.

Almost like a consolation prize for Hillary. Let them have her. Just keep her away from the rest of us.

I wouldn't mind seeing her get another electoral beating from Trump!

No worries I'm sure the Dems will count her vote even if she is 6 feet under.

He is not getting out of the gate very well and governing is just going to expose his lack of knowledge and preparedness. Going to be a wild ride and just hope he is checked by the Dems in the Senate so he does minimal damage.
You mean the Dems that were suppose to takeover the Senate? Lack of knowledge???? The man ran a multi-billion dollar business. I highly doubt he lacks the knowledge to govern, but please keep the DNC koo-aid flowing.

Hey buddy, ease up on the medical m.j.

I'll be happier if she is 'pushing up daisies'.

Her time was 2008. Had she had beat Obama in the Democratic primaries that year, she would have been a shoe-in. For one, at the time she was running on Bill's legacy, which resonated very well during the Great Recession. Also, while there were still scandals, she wasn't yet weighed down by the likes of Benghazi, the emails, and shady Clinton Foundation deals. Things would have looked much better for her back then.

Hopefully somebody electable also runs for the (D)s in 2020 and that the media and Democratic establishment won't push her as inevitable as they did this year. It's a free country so she is welcome to run, but she isn't entitled to special treatment. Hillary again could mean an 8-year Trump Presidency.

Hilleary and her team will be retiring in Federal Prison. The DNC is so badly damaged it would be who of them bring new talent forward.
