The red states will beg California to stay in the union because they need California's tax revenue.

If they like Mexico so much, then they can migrate to Mexico. An insult to bring a foreign flag. Mexico is a disgrace country, rampant corruption, drugs, women abuse, and other more serious problems. Mexicans discriminate against indigenous and black color people. Whatever you see on television about a police officer abusing his power against minorities is nothing what happens in Mexico. For example, if you know people in power, then you can liberality have someone arrested and beaten within inch of their death. Police arrested the wrong person and stole his jewelry and money, but this person knew people in power. The police officer that stole and beat him, were then taken into a close room. The items stolen were given back to the person they abuse. However, the police officer took a beating by this person in retaliation for the earlier abuse. They could not lift an arm or reprisals against their family. This person beat those two police officer in a police building in a close room with approval of the police officer in charge. That is a banana republic that so many Mexican living here adore.

CA will get its Democratic President either in 2016 or 2020 or win the Senate or something.
But it "might" cool off? It will cool off. This is nothing but after-election tears from California Democrats, just like Texas' threat of secession in 2012.

Of course they would still operate and of course there is other revenue generating operations, bu what happens when all those IT companies lose their US government contracts? What happens when all those ports lose their shipping goods from the rest of the United States? What happens when people decide they will not support California entertainment? What happens when people decide they will not leave the country for vacation and go to Florida instead? California has huge income, but only a fool would say that they do not depend on the rest of the country for a healthy amount of that money.

The rest are a drain on the USA.

Ewww....

BTW, our state schools are stocked full of kids shipped here from CA. Don't blame us if the learning curve is not as steep.

Right, so California is actually shortchanged already, usually $30-$50 billion less in federal funding than what we pay in federal taxes annually.

So if you let us keep the oh $400 billion that we give to DC each year in federal taxes, that is more than enough to spend pn what we need taken care of here. Right?

Blue States are a bit less 'dependent' on Uncle Sam.
