I feel like I did after 9/11," Robert De Niro said of the election of Donald Trump during an interview Nov. 10 for "Awards Chatter," The Hollywood Reporter's awards podcast, which will post in its entirety early next week.
He continued, "And we'll just see what happens. There will be many, many, many, many, many people watching."
I really don't care what De Niro feels like. He says he is a very left wing liberal but uses every capitalist tool he can to make big money. What a hypocrite and a great actor in the political arena. I got De Niro pegged as well as most of Hollywood who rakes in millions and lives in their multiple mansions. What a crock. He couldn't care less about the working blue collar men and women who built America from the ground up. De Niro is in it for himself only . He doesn't care about Americans.
Trumpers don't understand the crying because they don't understand who or what they voted for. They think they voted for someone who is going to "fix" things to their liking. There was nothing in Trump's history to suggest that he had any interest whatsoever in America's problems. The man has never involved himself in community efforts, or even charity, in order to help his fellow Americans. He doesn't read, doesn't understand geopolitical realities--he doesn't even know geography. Didn't matter. All he had to do is create a mob and endlessly hurdle one outrageous claim after another, even to the point of absurdity ("I know more about ISIS than America's generals!") and dangerous sociopathy ("I could shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters!"). Clearly, he knew his base. He was right: He could have shot someone and they still would have wanted to vote for him. What Trump did was unleash the misogynistic rage of hyper-masculine men, who took a great sense of vicarious power from his insane ravings; and he unleashed the barely-suppressed racism of the disaffected white communities. Both of those groups convince themselves that this isn't the case, that they voted for him based on his "policies." Except that he didn't have any "policies"; he never once offered any substance related to governing whatsoever. Now that he is elected and rolling back on his promises as fast as he can, they are still convincing themselves that they were right, finding excuses for him. Too painful for them to admit to themselves that they've been had. Trump needed them to gain the ultimate power, and they made it happen. Now he's finished with them, left them in the dust, and they simply cannot accept it. Nor will they ever.
He doesnt know geography. LOL. Trump had visited over 20 different countries before he was elected president.
He doesnt read books. LOL. Trump earned a 4 year degree at Wharton school of business.

Donald Trump is lacking in morality and character and may have been complicit in Russia's attempt to interfere in the 2016 election. With an assist from Russia, Donald Trump is now President and probably will win re-selection as President with another assist from Putin.
