Likening Clinton's loss to 9/11 is a travesty and probably the most repugnant thing anyone has said after the election. These liberal celebrities seem to think THEIR grief is more important to share than moving forward as a nation.

Some of these upset persons cannot seem to survive outside of their liberal bubble.

You seem to have alpha males confused with pajama boy.

De Niro is an American citizen and entitled to an opinion others disagree with as far as I know.

The fascist regime has not yet begun.

I've always liked De Niro, now I like him even more.

I understand his remarks, this is a new low for America and it hurts. He is right though, many , many people will be watching his every move.

I feel like I did after 9/11," Robert De Niro said of the election of Donald Trump during an interview Nov. 10 for "Awards Chatter," The Hollywood Reporter's awards podcast, which will post in its entirety early next week.

He continued, "And we'll just see what happens. There will be many, many, many, many, many people watching."

De Niro, the same man who made his wife sleep in a separate bedroom, while she was pregnant, b/c he couldn't stand the sight of her....yeah, his opinion counts.

but he is right, we should all be watching, our job isn't over just b/c we voted.....we need to watch them all and call upon them when we disagree, remember we pay them....they aren't doing us any favors....

Robert Deniro proves that most Hollywood actors are arrogant and live in a bubble.

they are multi-millionaires with their Malibu and Beverly Hills mansions that live around big walls, big fences, with the best security out of touch from the common folks, they fly in private jets, have vacation homes around the world and they have the freakin' arrogance to tell the common folks how to vote and get all upset when the country ignores them.

you think Robert worries like the common folks how is he going to pay the rent, pay food and pay the rising cost of healthcare?......does he gets affected by illegal immigration and open borders and the bad trade deals of NAFTA.....of course not! he doesn't a give a $hiat.

the only way he gives a damn is if HOLLWOOD outsource his job to cheap foreign actors and goes overseas and he can't make a penny making movies.

you think Deniro would be happy if illegals move around his community or jump the fence and walls of his mansion and he has to pay the cost?

the man lives in a bubble and can't stop making a fool out of himself.

I understand and share De Niro's feelings about the out come of the election. I feel much more profoundly depressed and anxious than I did after 9/11. It isnt so much that Hillary lost....it is that Trump won.......and that almost half the voters thought he would be a good President. To me that is a resounding rejection of American values and history and potential for the future. I dont want to go back to some point in the past when Trump felt we were greater than now..........I remember all to well the baby steps it took to "form a more perfect union". I dont want to go back.

We will survive Trump but it may take generations until we get back to as good as we were last week....this is an enormous set-back.

Hadn't even heard that, but it sounds pretty weird.

You are right we should be watching the politicians. Trump has made some BIG LEAGUE promises.
He has a long track record of getting things in business. We will see how he does as President.
Fact is he's had naysayers all along.
He's built skyscrapers , hotels,casinos,resorts,golf courses
Clinton built her political career and the Clinton foundation.
