Tim Ryan has an A rating from the NRA, might be good news for gun owners.

How so? She had people running against her in the past two nominations that she easily won.
She did win the last two elections but last week Hillary got her butt handed to her because the Rust Belt doesn't want to hear about bathroom rules and how white people are the devil.

So logic (not a liberal Dem strong suit) would say kick out the San Fran SJW feminist that's older than dirt and put in a young, economically focused guy with little SJW leanings from the epitome of the Rust Belt - Youngstown (northeast Ohio).

Start of last congress there was talk of a challenge. Was killed in committee room. So the party moves on and now there is a challenge.

By establishment Dem standards he's Charlton Heston.

He was also pro life up until a few years ago.

He's as sane as a liberal can possibly be. Not saying much but you know what I mean.

EDIT: I'm originally from Youngstown so have at least generally followed him.

Ryan ran on a platform opposing NAFTA to get his seat in the House.

But if democrats keep Pelosi then more voters will be driven from the party. With democrats thinking riots are productive, what logic will be used to tar and feather 80 year old Pelosi?

He's right democrats need new direction and need to understand where the average American is right now. Trump won most of the rust belt states clearly people want change.

Looks like you are correct, I could have sworn there was a couple times she had a challenger that didn't get many votes. Regardless, I wouldn't care that much if she got replaced in the House as Minority Leader. The Democrats could afford to make some changes.
