No one named Tulsi will ever be elected President just like no one named Romeo Botchegaloop or Fanny Boogers will ever be elected. It's the Law of Funny Names.

Correct, the Democrats need to go back to the drawing board and come back in 2020 with something new. As it stands now, Democrats are losing the war of ideas. Its just a lot of parrots repeating the same identity politics dogma and trite platitudes, and I've never seen a time when such a large number of people looked more childish and ridiculous. We can probably count on a lot more millenials becoming Republican in the coming years too as long as Trump delivers at least somewhat and doesn't totally mess up his opportunity. Like cocoons into butterflies, once they start to morph they don't go back.

Default Michelle Obama 2020?

Could the former first lady run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 and beat President Trump if she ran? Can you see her being forced to run?

I hope she runs... or Booker or Warren or Biden... all will be swept aside like fallen leaves... it must be painful that the Democratic Party doesn't have anyone as a real contender...

She could and she would. It's now the age of celebrity when it comes to presidential politics. I don't know if she would relish all the ridicule it takes or care for another term in the fishbowl. On the other hand, she looked really upset today at what was unfolding and might want to take Trump down (assuming he ever gets to 2020 which is less than 50% likely in my estimation).

The US electorate was dumb enough to fall for nepotism in 2000 and 2004.

But they weren't so dumb as to repeat the same mistake again in 2016 and said enough of dynasty politics.

Yes, it may be the era of celebrity politics, but please try to be a bit more original next time.
