Serious question: are you a progressive (Sanders-like supporter)? I noticed a lot of my FB friends that are progressive feel the same. The DNC won't win anything outside of the East/West Coast if they run a progressive.
Its precisely the progressive New Deal pro-labor democrat that can win outside of the East/West coast. The so-called "centrist" is just code word for anti-labor puppet of Wall Street, big pharma and the insurance companies. That yields zero enthusiasm.
Doesn't matter who makes the jokes because Franken will end up with the last laugh once he's selected as the Democratic candidate. The guy already has a great sense of humor so his experience coupled with his knack for diplomacy should get him far. Saw him on Bill Maher a few weeks ago and was really impressed with him...

Booker? That would be terrible. He's swimming in bribe money from all of the most powerful special interests in America. A vote for Booker is a vote for the billionaire class. Being a "Truther" at least Booker could get to the bottom of what really happened on 9/11.
I don't think Trump will run again in 2020. His age and the crap he's putting up with from the deep state just makes it too unlikely. Cory Booker is being groomed to be the next Obama and the dem list of the other possibles is just too weak or too radical. Not that Booker isn't a complete phony, I said he was the next Obama.
I don't know who the GOP will run, their list of candidates is equally limited. A populist candidate could win if the right one comes along. Both parties are losing support and the faith of the people.
Julian Castro. Depending upon his campaign promises, Republicans might vote for him if Trump has trouble delivering.
The only thing I want to be "delivered", is a mortal blow to the so-called "progressive" ideology. Finish what was attempted in the 1920s and 1950's, and marginalize and exclude the Leftists (who simply refuse to accept the rule of open markets, human interaction and Empirical Reason) -- once and for all, via their own stupidity.
